This gem of a covered bridge is located in Smithgall Woods. It is a hike to get to but well worth the effort to see and photograph.
We are seeing huge advancements in photography, particularly the last few years. When photography first became accessible to everyone the fine art painters were concerned it would replace their work. It hasn't. Photography was just another art form that developed on its own. Today artificial intelligence (AI) concerns photographers. If we keep in mind AI is simply another art form it too can coexist with fine art painters and photographers. The problem occurs though in that photography and AI exist in the same medium of digital creation. It can be hard to recognize or distinguish one from another.
There is another problem plaquing photographers now. Automatically applied hashtags in Instragram may tag something that is not generated by AI as an AI image. On the flip side, someone may tag their AI image as 100% real when it is really 100% AI. The best anyone can do presently is follow photographers whom they trust to accurately describe their image and whether or not any elements of AI were used.
The art presented here, like all of my images, is photography. No AI elements were used in its creation.
